Penang, 30 March 2016 – Eastern and Oriental Hotel, one of the most talked-about heritage hotel in Penang, welcomed a group of 40 students and teachers from SM Tanjung Bungah to render the students an opportunity in gaining exposure on the hotel operations.

The bus arrived at the E&O new wing Lobby, which is also known as the Victory Annexe lobby at 9am. Subsequently, the students were split into two groups while conducting the hotel tour. They visited to the E&O Gallery to study the background history of the E&O Hotel, and also walked around the hotel building to observe the environment and to understand the way hotel runs their business daily.

After that, there was a mini orientation and work opportunity session hosted by Prabah Loganathan, a Training and Development Executive at 10:30am. In the occasion, some employees were invited to give a speech in sharing their working experience at E&O Hotel. The program received a very warm response from the students and some had kept asking questions during the Q&A session.

Before they left, E&O Hotel was hearty hospitalized the students and teachers with a free lunch at Sarkies Restaurant. The souvenir exchange were then conducted between the hotel staff and the students after they had finished their meals. Later, students and teachers said farewell to the hotel staff and departed back to their school by bus on 1pm.
